How were your holidays? It amazes me how fast December goes by. It is busy with shopping, decorating, planning meals, baking cookies, and writing Christmas cards. We watch the videos of the Nativity for Family Home Evenings and read Christmas stories. I made cookies to give neighbors and friends. We invited friends to come over for New Year's Eve. The fun of Christmas time is in the giving of gifts and wondering what is in the gifts for us. Thank you to everyone for the fun things given to us! Hope you like the things we gave to You!
I SPY A DOG
.jpg)
Do you see our dog? This was taken Christmas Day in the evening time. I moved Max's bed to over by the tree so he was out of the way. Nathan was playing with remote control cars and Max didn't want to be in their path. Each time I walked by the room during the day, I found it funny that two black eyes looked up at me in the middle of all the mess.
MAKING SUSHI
Our friends, Dave and Christie came to visit us for the weekend of New Year's. We like to make sushi with them. Dave is teaching us how to roll them up.
Some pictures of what we did on break from School -
Wii, computer games, make houses with all the little toys we have, webkinz, play in the snow....

FUN THINGS WE ARE DOING
Amanda's Girl Scout troop is participating in the Lego League competitions. They have built this robot and are programing it to do missions. They have their first competition on Saturday. I asked the girls if I could take their picture and they all got up and moved out of the way. Amanda and Mr. Chin (the Dad that is helping them program the robot) were left for my picture.
Lauren has started learning the clarinet in band at school.
